A COUNSELORS ACADEMY STORY: A MATCH MADE IN PR
It all began on Day One of CAPRSA16 in Puerto Rico. We met at a coffee break in between sessions and by the end of the conference, we were convinced, a great match had been forged in PR. We are the principals of J. Davis Public Relations and Van Eperen, two Maryland PR firms which recently announced a merger, just four months following that introduction outside the Salon Las Nereidas.
Our merger is an ideal and powerful PR story on so many levels. It speaks to the power of our profession and all of us who strongly stand behind it; banding together to share our case studies and best practices to encourage and grow in our shared learnings, and to continue to add value in all that we do in our organizations, and for many of us, for our clients too.
Without the Counselors Academy and without making the effort to be in Puerto Rico, we would not have met, and our merger would not have happened. #CAPRSA is about reenergizing, reengaging, and refocusing so we can take our shared ideas and friendships back home to bolster our practices. Our meeting at the conference hit on every intention of the conference.
Now ... we are stronger together and well positioned for growth with our wider footprint in Maryland and the Mid-Atlantic thanks to our match made in Puerto Rico!
